Youth Agribusiness Development

Youth Agribusiness Development Project

The youth Agribusiness Development project promoted the development of Agribusinesses by youth in the Builsa South and Builsa North districts of the Upper East Region of Ghana. The project was funded by the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Ghana.

The USADF is an independent U.S Government agency established by the U.S Congress to support and invest in African–owned and Africa-led enterprises that improve the lives and livelihoods of people in underserved communities in Africa.

SavaNet led in the implementation of the project in partnership with the Agribusiness Innovation Hub – iHub. The project benefited about 2,500 youth within various Agriculture value chains e.g., rice, maize, soybeans, vegetables, livestock, and Agriculture machinery value chains.
