InterAction Forum 2015

ImageThe 2015 InterAction Forum was held at the Marriot Warden Park Hotel in Washington D.C USA from the 22nd - 24th June, 2015 bringing together professionals from various International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGO’s) across the world.

The Savannah Young Farmers Network (SavaNet) was among invited INGO’s during which its Executive Director Moses Nganwani Tia served as a youth guest speaker on the plenary session: (Mind the Gap: creating economic opportunities for youth) a UPS - InterAction/ AIYD CEO Roundtable event.

Other speakers on the plenary session were: Dr. Kristin Lord, President and CEO for IREX and Co-chair for AIYD, Dan J. Brutto UPS foundation Trustee and former President UPS International and Tadzoka Pswarayi consultant, youth talent cloud and workforce connections. The plenary was moderated by: Dr. Nicole Goldin NRG Advisory LLC.

During SavaNet’s Executive Directors official duty to Washington D.C, he held discussions with a cross section of IREX staff at IREX headquarters, the program Manager for YALI at USAID headquarters as well as featured in a video documentary by FHI360.

Other INGO’s present at the 2015 InterAction forum were: USAID, US Department of State, USADF, IREX, UPS, WFP - USA, SNV-USA, PLAN International USA, CARE Canada, ADRA International, the World Bank, etc.
