Future of Work Conference
The Eisenhower Fellowship’s future of work conference was held in Malaga Spain from the 13th – 17th of September 2017. The conference brought together over 200 Eisenhower Fellows to share, be informed on global trends and connect to develop ideas and concepts that can lead to concrete outcomes with real world impact.
The Eisenhower fellowship iLabs was the platform at the conference through which fellows from all over the world presented innovative projects to address topics discussed at the future of work conference.
The flagship Agribusiness Innovation Hub – iHub project by SavaNet-Ghana was the only project from Africa among selected projects from across the world to present at the iLab sessions.
Presentation by the iHub project highlighted the various innovative activities/services it provides. They include: Agri-apprenticeship, Agribusiness coaching and mentorship, Agribusiness marathons, Agribusiness Boot camps, Agribusiness town hall forms, precision Agriculture technologies, etc.
Other iLab presentations centered on: Health care and innovation, opportunities for youth in regions of conflict, technology/innovation and environment, utilizing artificial intelligence to advance learning, etc.
The future of work conference ended with a greater commitment to strengthen EF’s global network and support increased collaboration between international fellows to achieve sustainable, real-world impact across sectors, borders and regions.
